I'm sure I, alongside many others, would watch all of these shorts and movies on film or whatever their intended format, but it isn't always that simple.

People can enjoy pan-scanned and cropped films on VHS that were shot on 70mm and 21:9, sure it's not optimal, but if it's the only choice.
If there were less people like you, maybe we'd actually have good quality transfers of films like these.
