This is a really unique one. A fantastic folk horror film, with some brilliant cinematography to boot.mcmakattack
Decades Exploration - Hooptober X1952, Countries: Finland
Stunning cinematography and a great score. I love the exploration of a culture we don't see too often, I was previously very unaware of reindeer herders in the Finnish Lapland. A good amount of spookiness once the main character makes contact with the witchy hermit, the subsequent folkish dread worked well. Hate to say though, this was mostly boring throughout.

This is one of those undercooked movies where I feel like the soundtrack composer is working grossly out of proportion to everyone else and giving the film an appearance of classy expertise that it doesn't really earn.Ray Anselmo
