"What a rotten film." Godard punishes everyone here, including the viewer. That said, for enduring the many meaningless monologues we're at least rewarded with sequences that might bewilder even Buñuel.

Godard's all-time best. A rough, incredibly disturbing film.

Awesome. It's savage, it's smart, it's an action movie and a film d'essai at the same time. Loved every second of it.

This film really struck a chord with me, I found it to be a powerful social commentary, which certainly made me look at our lives and the precoscious nature of modern society

Some inspired sequences don't make an inspired film. Definitely the weakest of his i've watched . Animal cruelty alert!

One person near the end says and I quote: "There must be a malady more terrible than the swelling of eyes after contemplating man's strange nature." Yes..there is young man...it's called watching Le Week-end!

It was sort of like watching the Walking Dead only I wish all the dead people on the side of the road could have turned into zombies and killed all the annoying French people....

On the positive side, a lot of the brazen imagery will be forever etched in my mind and (I guess?) that's a good thing...

Dear Godard,
