Everybody with, or with a genetic predisposition towards diabetes, hypertension, or heart problems should watch this, or make a loved one watch it. 7 years ago

Sarah Berry, Lifestyle Health Editor for The Sydney Morning Herald wrote that while the film makes "some valid points including concerns about the influence of Big Food on dietary recommendations and about poor farming practices, which can be both inhumane and bad for the planet, (...) the makers cherry-pick science, use biased sources, distort study findings and use 'weak-to-non-existent data' to make claims such as eating one egg a day is the equivalent of smoking five cigarettes."

I loved the documentary's production and interviews, but like the director's previous film, Cowspiracy, it makes gross oversimplifications and claims major diseases like cancer and diabetes can be prevented or even reversed by adopting a completely vegan diet. My recommendation would be to give the documentary a chance and take it with a grain of salt.
