If you are a parent, see it with one of your children. We have a teenage child and my wife deliberately chose for us to all go and see this movie together. It certainly was a movie that got some good conversations going. It is certainly not just for children.

I’d heard about this film and after watching it cannot say it did much for me - the acting wasn’t much and there were no thrills to speak of at all. Alfred Hitchcock did it much better I think.

A handy tip for any fans of these Trips is to know that there are extended TV versions of each one, doubling the length. I've been following them for 10 years and have enjoyed each instalment.

A good way to do a biopic, inevitably leaving some things unexamined, as in: who influenced Cole's style of writing, what was his background/education apart from privileged?

I suppose it's hard to know what to leave out of a person's life.

The writing is pleased with itself and that makes the film hard to love. If you would like to see the main character change clothes around 35 times, then this may be the film for you.

This has a little bit of comedy in it, but for a movie about someone who becomes a successful comedian, the story is very light on what actually makes the main character funny - they just magically arrive on stage fully formed without any build up. There's a big hole in the story in regard to this aspect.
Drama is the main ingredient, but it isn't a fun movie to watch.
Definitely an antidote to a Hollywood version of the same subject matter, but too grim for most audiences, I would say.

I'm not sure why the documentary has the name it does, however there isn't much evidence in it as to what Elvis was searching for. I suppose they used the title as it looks good written down. There are so many people with differing agendas around Elvis (as there were when he was alive) that whatever we get is bound to be compromised in some way. A missed opportunity.

This was a great first effort, conserving we have a new lead actor, who does very well to take over such a great personality. Ian McShane does very well and raises the levels of fun, having as many great one liners as Hellboy does. I am glad we still have the Del Toro movies, however I see this as a more more bloody continuation of those movies.

Seeing as this has not done well financially, there may not be any more movies featuring the character, however we now have three live action releases to choose from if we wish.

The heart that others think is missing comes at the end of the movie. I think the great success of Marvel movies has set the bar high - perhaps too high for others to reach at times. Any movie that is released near Avengers: Endgame is facing tough competition, box office wise.
Overall, I enjoyed it and am glad I supported it by going to see it. I'm looking forward to the Blu Ray release.

I felt this movie was as good as the first one and look forward to the next instalment.

I enjoyed how the director of this used a similar editing and camera style to Welles. The idea behind Orson’s film is still unclear. It’s almost like this documentary is a stylistic remake of Orson’s own “F FOR FAKE”. I liked the documentary.

You could put this together with the 'Wrecking Crew' documentary and get a great double feature.

Enjoyable because it is about Keith, not the Stones.

I thought this was balanced and well done. It’s weird that some people recorded video of her when she was doing nothing special - did they sense she was going to be worth documenting somehow ?
The only thing I would have liked was more information on the specific music she listened to that gave her the sound she had, like a list of her favourite albums.

One of the few movies I’ve seen where the reputation was greater than the entertainment value of the movie. I’m not sure why this is seen as funny - it didn’t do much for me.

I didn't mind this at all and love to see a good ensemble piece. There seem to be a few things missing from the script, such as how all of the main characters benefit from the major event and this made things inconsistent.
I assume things were cut out or just not in there to move the story along. Overall, it did its job and is successful from that point of view.

Great chemistry between the leads. Loved it. Highly recommend. If you want art, go to a gallery.

It wasn't bad but I was never going to buy it full price, put it that way. Ridley does a great job on THE MARTIAN, then goes downhill on his next sci fi outing - a shame.

Wow. After seeing sequels till I started to get si k of seeing new films, finally we get a Bond movie with a great Oscar winning actor in the lead, but this time it's a lady. Can't wait to add this to my collection.

Loved it, great ending, great villain, great acting - if only all superhero movies were this good.

By the numbers most of the way and the ending was badly handled (a big emotional plot point resolved in a couple of sentences).

I liked it, as I realise they cut down on the exposition and got straight into the story.

I was very happy with it, finally one of the stories that many of us wished to see (even if we had never realised it). Didn't mind the CG aspects as they helped to round out the whole story. A downbeat ending for the main characters, straight out of 70's cinema - what more could you want? Amazing that these films are being made now - even more amazing that I can take my kids to see them with me...that means a lot. See them with a child's eyes and you may rethink things.

Not bad, but how many times can we hear the same story told? I'm a big fan, but I keep thinking of all the stuff we never hear about, which we won't as long as the Beatles are in charge.
