Possibly the greatest black comedy of all time. Dry humor as only the British can do it.

The ultimate paranoid thriller. A classic.

I do not understand how this made it onto the "greatest sequels" list. It's terrible by any standard, but especially compared to the first film.

Bava's work deserves to be on more than just the horror list.

Am I the only person who didn't find this the least bit funny? I was struggling to keep my eyes open the whole time.

The only good thing about this turkey is H.R. Giger's poster art.

Planes, Trains & Automobiles did it first and much, much better.

Bava's films ooze with cool style, none moreso than this. An influential feast for the eyes (and ears, courtesy of Morricone), Diabolik is a cross between Bond and Batman, if both were bad guys. Set your logic aside and ignore the usual bad Italian dubbing, 'cause you're in for a sumptuous, kitschy, over-the-top treat.

Brutal, stark, honest; the opposite of a romantic comedy. A rom-trag?

Scorsese channeling David Lynch. A fast-paced, wacky cinematic head trip.

No such thing as "too gothic."

I've only just seen it for the first time, but it's already earned a spot on my list of favorite films. Gorgeous to look at, full of atmosphere, it's like a dark and moody Japanese fairytale. Beautiful.

Keep an eye on his assistant during the dental sequences, she can't keep a straight face.

This brought nothing new to the table. As usual, the American remake is aimed at people who don't like subtitles or subtlety. Even the CGI was fake-looking and distracting. Sure, the kids did a good job, and it could've been a lot worse, but that's not exactly a ringing endorsement.

The backgrounds in some of the shots are eerily realistic.

It's not a laugh riot, granted, and it probably shouldn't be on a comedy list, but it's still a solid mystery/thriller with elements of comedy and romance.

Yeah, major glitches happening with the search and anticipated results. Many titles aren't even showing up in search results, just the a.k.a.s. Try searching for "Return of the Living Dead" and look at what happens.
