I'm far from being the kind of guy who gets mad at first because something is racist, but this guy knows how to fucking get me. Yet I can't lie, the film was good.

It doesn't matter how much I could despise Griffith, but if this were an exclusively Babylon-related film, this would have been certainly the greatest.

Pretty uncomfortable to watch. When you read the script, you can fill the hiatus left for your other senses with the color and music of Shakespeare's speech; when you watch a play, the tones given to every line and the overdoing of gestures can fill the other hiatus now left by the absense of a living background, both visual and audible. In all these senses, film is a superior art form. This particular film however is lazy, it just takes the play and adds this by now classic abuse of CGI to it. It is hollow; you simply can't get the vivdness of Shakespeare by watching it, you just want it to end as quickly as possible, exactly like when you have to read a book for a assignment. Lacks music, lacks something to enertain one's eyes; if it weren't for Russell Brand, it would also lack acting. It is badly fabricated. I know, yea, 300 was a cool movie, but that one has in fact not just action, but it also deals with more obscure times, which allow as well more obscure sorroundings.

God, it was bad.

It's pretty good, indeed, but I'm sure nothing too important would be lost if this one were a couple of hours shorter.

I disagree on that this movie is still controversial. It isn't. Nobody who's taken seriously supports the views expressed here. However, there are a lot of movies and other media promoting America's foreign interests, quite a today's equivalent, and nobody thinks they're worth talking the same way.

And so what about technical issues anyway. Lot of films before did what this blockbuster "achieved", even from the very Griffith.

Sometimes silly, and many times a bit too much of a Catholic moral, but quite touching when intended. Sadly, however, the emotional parts could have worked even better if synchronized sound was already available.

Apparently not even in silent films Murikans wanted to miss the slightest opportunity to throw a bit of propaganda here and there. Tacky.

Completely pointless to watch sober.

Laughed at this more than at Big Lebowski.

After watching some Hollywood, I always end amazed at the way Germans portrait shady aspects of their own past. Not every single Nazi is a fanatical sadist, and, as if by magic, Soviet soldiers are not portrayed as animals, nor as the oportunistic ones who seized the hard work done by Americans.

Overall the film is pretty good, but I think the dialogues Hitler had with their generals got a bit overused, though. In my opinion, Ganz's wasn't that great. Probably, the character was a bit overacted sometimes, but you couldn't tell since Hitler it's definitely not the easiest, unless you wanna play caricatures.

In general, a great movie.

Honestly, to me the first half was unbearable, but then it had its cute moments, just like every kids' film.

When I read the preview, I thought at first that this was going to be a Hollywood effort to romanticize paedophilia, but I ended watching a family film that could have been perfectly starred by Robin Williams. But yea, I kinda enjoyed plot's development, though.

In my opinion, the better achieved part of this movie is beyond the movie itself. It is easier in this film to recognize the format for all those tasteless 2000's dudebro flicks than in other movies Murikans have previously made.

The macho humour in this one is getting, thank God, more and more outdated as time passes by, but I have to admit I laughed at all German guys' related, maybe because of the readiness itself the German spirit has to make other peoples laugh. I still don't know, though, what could have been so funny when this was on the cinemas. Maybe I'm missing not being white. No idea.

When I were to see this, I thought it would be like any anti-Communist piece of propaganda made by Americans. I got surprised, though, and felt kinda touched as it was passing by. Proof you can't buy not being vulgar with a $50+ million budget.

Story concept is so ridiculous that this would actually be a really good comedy.

I don't know what's so bad about this movie, seriously. There may be some abuse, for laughs' sake but still, of clichés taken from the previous movies, as well as this thing of being chased by cyborgs could be a bit tiring at this stage, true, but in my opinion the story concept is much better developed than in the other two movies. It is on the level of the other two. Also explosions. I really liked this one.
