It wasn't bad, I hope the two leads make another movie together. I wonder if people expect too much from movies nowadays - if so, maybe it's best to stick to the older films.
A movie with the premise as written was never going to be 'Die Hard'. I enjoyed it, because you can't make art historians into James Bond - so they didn't. The film didn't belittle what they were doing, which it couldn't. It also didn't make their mission seem more important or worthy than the people on the front line getting killed, which worked. For these reasons it succeeded.
The film confuses you in the first ten minutes, then luckily forgets all that and becomes a great adventure. Will they visit the 80's next time, seeing as they've set the last two in the 60's and 70's?
This is one for the kids with a feel good message. The poster doesn't give an idea of what the movie is about and the guy in the poster is not the main character.
As a married person, I would say this movie is true to life. It was funny and believable. Fifteen or twenty minutes could have been edited out, though.
Great to see Steve working with one of the finest actors around. His own work drew Judi Dench to the film and there is no higher praise than that. A great drama.
It is rare that a film can have an actress play such a famous person where the actor humanises that person, without overdoing the 'this person is damaged' angle. This is one such film. Now I need to see the film it is based around, then read the book by Colin himself.
A movie which gives people who want near naked bodies what they want, however they may also have wanted a comedy. What you also get is a dramatic aspect with some good enough dialogue and a believable situation. As another person mentioned here, I haven't seen a movie about this subject before and with the director's record, it was going to be worth a look, at least. Hollywood isn't too good at depicting reality, so this movie was welcome in that respect.
I loved it, especially the tension of it. The framing device at the beginning and end was particularly effective. Even though you know it's CGI, there are humans moving and saying the lines. Koba was very unsettling. I haven't seen any of the films past the original yet, but I don't think I'm going to enjoy them as much as the reboots. I'll have to see.
Another solid effort from Winterbottom and Coogan that makes you think. I would encourage any movie lovers to check out their work together. A serious biopic that doesn't judge its main character, who is hard to reach. Worth a look.
I suppose this film was trying to make the viewer feel as confused as the people who have to deal with the main character - in that respect, it succeeded. Great to see Matt Damon trying something different.
Great film. I think if these actors were older and the subject was a bit less 'niche' (that is, the main characters were better known - world leaders etc) they would have both been nominated for Oscars. You believe the film is happening. Great accent by Chris too - as another person mentioned, now I know he can act. I knew Daniel could going in.
Some good laughs, especially the line Stallone has when they're in the police station waiting to be released. The film didn't milk the schmaltz too much and neither actor stole the film. Well worth a watch for fans of either lead actor.
Brilliant. Films like this are the reason I still go to the movies - at $20 a ticket, I need a GOOD reason. Funny, action packed and with a great soundtrack.
Great action sequences. It's hard to believe how many crowd pleasers Marvel are making - they must be the most successful studio of the last 50 years. Entertainment is what people want and these movies give it to them, plain and simple!

Very good movie, with Mel looking as he should look for the character. He can actually act, which is what I always enjoyed.Movie comment on The Change-Up

Vey enjoyable, especially seeing Denzel do comedy again -he's been too serious lately. Mind you, he got nominated for an Oscar because of it.Movie comment on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
