I like Denis O'Hare and he was pretty much the only good thing about the film. It kept jumping between found footage and not, which was annoying and cheap, it wasn't particularly interesting or scary, the characters were stupid and annoying and the dialogue was so bad I kept cringing. And the fecking effects at the end lol wtf keep that thing in the shadows

I like ABBA but jesus christ this was goddawful. The only good thing about it was Colin Firth. Acting was horrible, the singing was horrible, the script was horrible. And the makeup & hair people should've been shot because everyone looked absolutely hideous.
I'm not a he and IMDb reviews are hardly the epitome of film criticism. I'm actually surprised anything said about this film is positive and that it's been watched by so many people now. I'd never felt the urge to walk out of a film before and felt it was my duty to inform curious bystanders of its awfulness. I thought fo sho it would be one of those festival films which never break out. But whatevs, to each his own.
Good adaptation of 'All You Zombies', but I felt it worked best as a short story; it was quite faithful to the story, but it's much tighter and snappier when it's being read. Good performances and not too much dilly-dallying make for a solid film though.
I agree with Mutton. One of the best horror films I've ever seen. Love the atmosphere and the intensity and how the characters are so natural. I also remember being peed off with my dad when he went to see it at the cinema while I was at school, because we'd both been dying to see it and he didn't want to wait anymore :(

Not wanting to put yourself at risk for a stranger means those people deserve to die. Coz who gives a crap about their lives, right? I know it could be argued that it's the same effect - they didn't care about hers, so she didn't care about theirs, but the smile at the end and the way it played out seemed like the film wanted us to have sympathy for, and side with, the woman.
