Very good, suspenseful, dramatic. Took me on a worthwhile emotional journey. I'm glad Brad hasn't had a facelift - the acting and emotions mean more.

Way too dark, this used the name of a much better film to get people into cinemas. Sometimes it's best to stop at two films.

Enjoyable, but a missed opportunity. It needed to be longer. The affectations of Jack come across badly, but they are reined in by the editing. Overall, a worthwhile film but not as in depth as it could have been. There's probably another film in the outtakes.

This movie is about the rise, fall and rebirth of the independent record shop and it is well worth a watch if you are a music fan !

Perhaps a movie trying to do too many things at once but mostly it rang true.

Like a wes Anderson film with less obviousness. I'm glad I saw it and am glad it was made.

Enjoyable, I'm not saying Paul's character was a cross between Christ and the dude, but it all worked.

This fulfils its brief admirably. Enjoy the ride.

I enjoyed it very much, having heard both bad and good things about it. The best thing is to see the show then comment if you wish, I suppose.

A tough low fat movie to be discovered for fans of drama and action.

I really liked this characterful film. Not for the jaded.

This is a four episode series about four archetypes in television since the 50's, which sees current TV shows (mostly cable shows) as another golden age of TV, with which I agree.

Tough 70's cop drama with political element to the story.

Tough gritty 70's action drama. See it if you're an Oliver Reed fan.

This film never quite figured out how to solve the tonal problems of showing something like people being shot (several times, on camera) followed by something funny happening. Doing something dramatic in a comedy is a strange combination that rarely works, though it does in AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON.

Loved it, had heard good things. I laughed many times and highly recommend this.

The less you know about this film the better. I only wish we made more films like this in Australia - ones where the talent involved goes overseas, sadly. It's powerful.

Very enjoyable. I do feel sorry for people who might be wanting more. At least they actually made the movie. It may not be up there with the Iron Man or first two X Men films, but it ain't far behind. It has Tommy Lee Jones in it - it can't be all bad.

I love westerns. Even if I had not known it was a remake, I would've wanted to see it for the actors alone. I was not disappointed.

I liked it, being nerdy myself, especially all the stolen bits of dialogue from other well known science fiction movies.

Very solid , enjoyable and somehow believable without being too cliched. It is also good to see that Steve Carell does not have to make funny faces in every movie he is in and is developing as an actor. This one is up there with DAN IN REAL LIFE.

A solid drama which evokes time and place very well.

This is a 70's movie, set in the 70's - the poster above bears no resemblance to what Richard Burton looks like in the film. It is a good enough film with solid acting and you can get it from Amazon in the UK. Not as good as Get Carter, but on the way there.
