Seen 89/100. With the exception of The Kremlin Letter and Beyond a Reasonable Doubt - both among the weakest work of the amazing directors who are behind them this is a fabulous list! Would like to see it be made official.
Simply beautiful. A graceful send off to the Japanese nobility and old traditions, while also welcoming the new era. Certainly not subtle, it's actually rather raw and powerful, while still managing to be gentle and respectful.
An amazing list. Should certenly be made official. Can't think of any list that covers our cinematic heritage better. A wonderful intoduction for anyone who isn't familiar with Norwegian movies.

@krakenzmama - This movie is among the very few silent films that even the average joe might have heard of. If someone can name 5-10 silents, you can be quite certain that Metropolis is one of them. It's also among the most respected and regarded films of all time. It's frequently referenced to as the best film of the 20s, and most all time lists as well as text books will reference to it. For a movie from 1927 it would be hard to be more known.
Why not just let free users get the old search funtion? Anyways, all you need to do is search with the IMDb link. A lot of extra work of course, but so far it's the only way.
Was hoping watching the rest of the Female Prisoner Scorpion series finally would pay off. :(
Anyways, great to see so many new titles. Very exciting. Let's hope it gets expanded next year as well. And someone should probably change the name of this list, haha.
On one hand I'm incredibly happy that this masterpiece finally is on a list, one the other hand I'm still sad that Robbe-Grillet's 9 other films aren't :(
