I thought I knew where this was going and in the end, even though I was wrong, I don't need to see it again, I liked it. Jonah Hill is obviously wanting to move outside his comedic niche and work with real dramatic actors - he did well to keep up with John and Marisa.

Not a bad documentary, however it bit off more than it could chew in terms of explaining the complexity of how the music business is changing.

Enjoyable - I don't know what I'll be doing when I'm 75, but I doubt I will be anywhere near as busy as this lady. If I'm half as funny, I'll be happy.

Great film - absorbing, a mix of styles (comedy, drama, social realism) which work well together.

Stylish, witty , dramatic, very 60's looking with inventive camerawork- a different sort of role for McQueen, playing an intellectual.

It looks like Katherine Heigl can't play all the stressed out career woman roles, so they're farming them out. Cookie cutter time.

This didn't work. There was almost a fetishization of Angelina - for her ego, perhaps? She's not Audrey Hepburn, but obviously wants to be thought of that way. If only the money spent to make it had been spent on Third World debt.

A very good film - marvellous acting. It unfolds in front of you as you watch people deal with their life without too much in the way of explanation.

I agree with a couple of the other reviews here - this is like a good attempt at making an Ealing and/or 60's Blake Edwards comedy and on that count it succeeds. It's difficult to make killing on screen funny and for the act to have no emotional resonance because it gets in the way of the plot.

I didn't like this much - I do wish that people who are definitely funny like Steve don't need to resort to wearing what look like false teeth to 'add character'.

So depressing in parts but that's why I love it. You get to see how low someone can go, how much they can fail, how bitter they can be.

No one has recently succeeded in how to put murder into a comedy. This film proves that.

I have read that this was a precursor to DIRTY HARRY. It is the same director, but this is a bit weirder with more comedy. Recommended.

Every so often, you may want to watch a World War Two movie. This is a good one. Watch it in a double feature with KELLY'S HEROES - go on.

Fond memories when recalling this film, although as others have mentioned the tunnel sequence is likely to be upsetting for children. You don't get to see Gene Wilder being that manic again until YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN.

I suppose if you know a bit about the film noir style you may get more out of this film. I think it succeeds, especially because of the music, which helps to make up for the deficiencies in script and/or acting. I like the theme of finite life - who can't identify with that?

I laughed a couple of times, but mostly thought 'this is supposed to be a comedy'? Robert's always worth watching, but I don't know if Zach is that funny.

This was a British TV mini series in 6 parts, I believe. It's a period drama with a bit of comedy thrown in from time to time.

This is a very intellectual film and your opinion will be based on whether you think that is a good thing. One thing is for sure - the little monologue that Richard Burton has by himself at the beginning will remain in your mind.

Go and get a copy of this classic Australian comedy and if you don't understand it, hopefully a nearby Aussie would be able to help.

Ridiculous story, I have fond memories of it. Consider how silly some of Clint's movies are plot wise and this should not suprise.

Still not sure about this - the tension built to a high pitch around halfway through the film and there is a twist. The last shot makes you wonder what has happened. I'll wait a while before I revisit it.

Very memorable - my wife was a bit freaked out by it. If you have children and watch this movie, consider yourself warned!

Probably not the sort of film you should go and see with a girl - I did.

Pretty disturbing by the time it is all over. You will never think of Katherine Hepburn in the same way.
