I have had this in my DVD library for years, only now I've seen it and it was worth the wait.

I genuinely think this is a film that has the power to give life affirmation. That scene where Angela is giving him a pep talk in the mirror, that is beauty right there.

It's not until the end that you truly feel the impact and meaning of this beautiful film.

I loved the variety of the cast, especially Karl!

Well done Burton.

How the HELL does this have so few checks? I've just rewatched it and it is light years ahead of its time.

As good as anything that came out last year. Full of awesome songs, visuals and characters.

Essential for animation lovers.

I really was surprised by this. It reminded me a little bit of The Ring and some of my other favourite Asian horror films. I am a sucker for a cheesy romance film too, so that was welcome.

Just over £5 for the Blu-ray on DDD, pick it up.

Very interesting and impossible to nail in one sitting.

It's a demo for audio and mindfuckery. I'd say the final act spoiled the film for me, but I really enjoyed the journey.

One of the creepiest films ever made. Williams is epic.

It has a very meaningful message too, oddly poetic.

This really hit home for me. Everything about it was awesome.

Incredible to see it made in 1927, it feels every bit as good as some modern classics.

Cracking tunes.

Surprisingly good. A great deal better than a lot of diabolic shit that has come out before it.

I prefer the Tim Burton, but the songs in this are absolutely magical.

Clever and funny. Can't wait to see what MoC do to it on Blu-ray.

One of the finest animated films I can remember watching. It's a dream come true for lovers of classic horror & animation.

Hilarious characters, touching friendships and extremely gratifying ending.

LOVE the final act. This is Burton's best in a long time.

A good effort, great showcase for 3D.

Not in the same league as The Raid however.

Along with Falling Down, this is Douglas at his very best.

A real headfuck and a joy to take part in. The ending is very satisfying and worth the journey to get to.

I'd say this is very underrated. I love Oldboy, but it gets insane credit, whereas this gets hardly any.

I think it is one of the most powerful, beautiful and understated films ever made. Everything about it is elegant and stunning, from Geum-Ja to the cakes, the music and the gun.

I absolutely love it and can't articulate it fully in words.

I can't decide if I love this more or Howl. It's a really sweet little film that even a grown man can relate to.

Kiki is the cutest heroine of any Ghibli and I found myself getting emotional when she did. The music definitely heightens the impact of certain aspects of the film too.

I deeply enjoy Jiji and the epilogue is one not to miss.

Really enjoyed the flow of the movie. I can see why it is so highly rated.

This, along with Howl have the best character design imaginable.

I also love the theme tune that runs throughout both movies. The one for Spirited Away is very beautiful and sad.

It's a film that demands to be seen over and over, there is so much to take in the first time, you will be amazed by how much more you get the second time round.

Masterful stuff.

Intensely beautiful film about love and dreams.

A film that makes you appreciate what you have and haven't got.

Excellent alternative to the original. If anything, it really helped me get some understanding on what the film is about.
