This movie my be something else whilst on certain drugs. Without them, it's not much. It seems to be trying to be 'Silence of the Lambs' crossed with 'Fantastic Voyage' - literally getting into the mind of a killer.
Very funny - I don't know why it isn't better known. Perhaps the lack of good actors is the reason (that does not include the two leads - Mark and Christina).
A great documentary that captures a lot of the excitement within the music of The Who. Not too much in the way of interviews, lets the music do the talking. The Who are after all one of the great visual bands.
Wow, this film would not be politically correct now. There's a line in it where one of the bad guys says something like 'let's go and kill us a couple of.......(insert racial description here)'. That said, Pam Grier is a force of nature.
Great show, about an hour long, filmed live in a TV studio and featuring Count Basie, Monk, Billie Holiday, Gerry Mulligan and Jimmy Giuffre among others.
It is painful to watch this movie as the group does not get on too well, which may be why it hasn't been re-released. Bootleg copies are fairly easy to find, though.
I'm glad a film finally got made about Scott, especially with his consent and input. It can be strange to see some good musicians talk about him. I still feel, sadly, that some musicians still think he's a hip person to 'name drop'. The film shows how hard it is to put music to visuals.
I felt this wasn't that good. Bought it secondhand and then got rid of it. A waste of Jason Bateman, but then again so have most of the movies he's been in.
Normally horror films don't get to me, but this did. I don't want to see this again as I live in Australia and wonder if the events portrayed in this film have ever taken place. Well done to all concerned.

This is one of those films that you may have to sit through with a Tom Cruise fan - it does have Bryan Brown in it, though, who brings some fun to it.Movie comment on The Cell

Not the best superhero film. I suspect that the best (and most memorable) thing about it is Jennifer Garner. Ben Affleck may also feel that way.Movie comment on The Deep

Before Nick Nolte largely disappeared from the big screen, he was in some good action and/or dramatic films. This is one of them.Movie comment on Harry Brown

I liked it, worth having in the collection. It is hard to come up with new ideas and settings for comedy, but this did that well, I thought.Movie comment on Let It Be

I enjoyed it - like a Tarantino movie in some respects, some good acting and a fine lead role for Jeremy Piven, who doesn't get enough of those.Showing items 151 – 175 of 248
