pretty much close to perfect as a nightmarish non-logical horror movie. goblins soundtrack is incredible as usual and iron maiden fits in too to give it the early eighties flavour. miss connolly did an amazing job here too. i will look at her with more respect the next time i see her in one of the hollywood movies she does these days

I watched this after snoozing through "Birth of a Nation". What a surprise! This is vivid and fresh even today. Only thing I was a little disappointed with Mefistopheles being this tiny guy after that great entrance.
