One of the best in the series.

Takes me right to when I saw it in 1982. Still very funny. Film buffs will particularly enjoy it - see it and you will see why I say that (it is not just for the noir setting).

This comedy/drama worked for me - Steve isn't overdoing his 'shtick' at all. In fact, he seems to be having a break from it, which is why it stayed with me. A throwback to some of those Alan Alda movies from the 80's.

Very different - a comedy with moments of real drama and disturbing elements. If only they made more films like this (I think).

I agree with the other comment that the title is misleading (in one way). Then again, what's funny to me may not be to you. It's got a little bit of comedy in it, but there is a great human story in there. It's an experiment that succeeds where CLICK failed - Adam is serious not tedious.

Even Sam Rockwell couldn't save this. We will need to add it to the list of films that Nicolas Cage fans (like me) wish he had never made.

If you can get past the stylised bits of action and occasional shots that look they're from a perfume ad, then you may find this to be a great action drama that has a good amout of realism in it.

Kurt Russell is always good in a comedy and Sly should have made more good ones like this.

This is a supernatural TV movie starring Albert Finney and as such is worth your time. I fondly remember watching it.

Fun, groovy stuff. Get some guys together with some falling down juice, some junk food and enjoy.

The psychological profession's ethics never looked the same to me after I saw this film. I love it. It does help if you're a Hitchcock fan, as you will pick up on a few references.

To think this movie is based on the true life experiences of Carrie Fisher makes me shake my head in disbelief. It is a very entertaining film.

I love this film. Imagine a chase film with an older, funnier James Bond who doesn't kill people and lives by his wits - this is it.

I think the idea of the movie was great, but the execution (no pun intended) wasn't that good. Still, I'm very glad to see Danny in a lead role - it's been a long time coming.

This film will always be one of my favourites, as will the (second) remake of it - EL DORADO, starring John Wayne, who also was in the third remake called RIO LOBO (which I haven't seen yet). All three were directed by Howard Hawks. Such great characters.

Very enjoyable - what is wrong with big dumb fun?

There is something about this movie that rings true, especially if you have been a semi-professional and/or professional musician in the popular, jazz or wedding band style. The above applies to me. It offers a great script, affecting acting and fine direction. An all time classic for me.

Different in enough ways for me to add it the collection - the actor Mark Strong is one good reason to see any film.

This was a murder mystery, but what made it different were the foreign accents and the random violence that would not necessarily take place in a Hollywood remake, which we hopefully won't get. I enjoyed it, but the violence was disturbing.

A funny, charming movie with some great one liners and a European attitude.

Liked the story and all performances - whether John Wayne's portrayal warranted an Oscar, I'm not sure. Beautiful scenery also adds to the story.

I loved the despairing tone of this.....how the villain makes incredibly violent and sad things happen, then does other things to inconvenience and damage society. I see it as operatic in that regard. The ending lets us down - I almost expected it to end with another death.

This is a movie about people who are looking to hurt others, mixed with a movie about those who want the truth. It is known as an action film, but watch it again and see how much of it is not that way at all.

Viggo makes me believe - what a combination he and David Cronenberg are. They both obviously feel the same way. Naomi Watts is up to the challenge of appearing opposite him.

You don't know what to expect in this film. It has a great setting and says a lot about how you need to know yourself and be true to that. A fine lead performance from Michael Douglas elevates it.
