Well that moved me more than i was expecting from a skateboarding documentary! Tackles many issues and really makes you contemplate the choices you have made in life up till now... won't be forgetting this one for a while..
This is one of 3 movies that have ever made me cry, fantastically emotional and emotive, almost did not watch as the plot did not sound great from the TV blurb.... but very glad i did, faultless performance by Meryl Streep..
I have to admit this movie is a guilty pleasure of mine - one of those 'so bad it's good' flicks.... whether it is the yeti that often appears to be different heights depending on the camera position, the fact one minute it cannot get around a small rock, yet the next minute can jump 30 foot in the air, or the classic scene where a rabbit is caught, and the following shot shows a chicken cooking on a fire.... low budget with questionable CGI, but a thoroughly enjoyable watch!
