One of the most effective low budget horror films for how simple the story is. Definitely one of my favorites of all time.

Brilliant movie with a pretty good cast with a commentary on oppression and class systems. Definitely worth a watch. I believe everyone should support the director and see the movie when it comes to the US in June.

I was totally stoked for this movie after finding out the whole film was improvised, but was very disappointed at the end product.

There was no build up in between scenes, resulting in me questioning the logic of the two couples were split in such a painfully obvious way.

I applaud them for trying to step outside the box so to speak; they were successful in portraying real life conversations and interactions. Unfortunately they failed to realize that real life is pretty damn boring.

I have sworn off found footage films, but this movie was very entertaining, and still managed to poke fun at the genre. Some segments were better than others but it was a good watch.

A heart wrenching tale of the effects that circuses and zoos have on elephants and the realistic struggles of transitioning them into sanctuaries. A must watch for everyone.

The movie only correlates with the book as far as title but it was a pretty crazy fun movie nonetheless.

Not as much heart and creativity as it's predecessor but, like most pixar sequels, the nostalgia carried it through. I wouldn't willingly watch it more than once.

If you don't like the Star Trek canon, just watch it for the cast alone. Spectacular chemistry and Benedict Cumberbatch's best role yet (although I wish he'd had a bigger role in the film because let's be honest he's incredible).

Too much perfection in one movie.

I don't know why I thought this was going to be anything more than a slew of bad jokes and crap story telling. Blegh.

Total heart warming (puns!!!) "Beauty and the Zombie" tale executed very well. I was thoroughly entertained the whole time. A+

Jack Black can do anything and I love him for it. Great film.

Despite the horrible and unneccesary ending, the Video Killed the Radio Star scene was one of the best this year.

The best part of this documentary was seeing this woman think that by going to Walmart she will save money, resulting in five carts worth of toys anyway. A great character study of the rich and their struggle save rather than spend.

Anne Hathaway's 15 minutes could have been the whole movie and it would still be nominated for Best Picture.

Not as ambitious as Inglorious Basterds, but once again Tarantino pulls off this spaghetti western revenge story impeccably. With Oscar worthy performances from the whole cast, an out of this world soundtrack, and a whole lot of blood gushing fun. Django Unchained forces us to pay attention to the brutality of not only slavery, but racism as a whole, and I think that is something we as a society need to be reminded of. This film is right up there with Jackie Brown in regards to my favorite Tarantino films, and it's my definitely my favorite of 2012. Can't wait to see it a second time.

It went on a bit too long, but at the end of it all I didn't even care. I love Middle Earth. I would have been more interested to see del Toro's interpretation, though.

I came into this film with absolutely no expectations, as I thought it was your run of the mill rom com. I was absolutely engrossed for the next 120 minutes. Great performances by all the cast members (yes, even Tucker). There is one thing you can always count on O. Russell to articulate well and that's family dysfunction. This is one of my favorites of the year and I will recommend until my dying day.

Cloud Atlas is easily one of the most ambitious films ever made, and yet it somehow, with only a couple slight issues (makeup, story relevance, etc.), delivers on multiple levels. I could go on for days about the cast, themes, and that beautiful sextet you just can't stop thinking about, but you're just going to have to see for yourself. I can't recommend this film enough. Watch it.

This is one of the smartest, most unique movies of the year. Rian Johnson succeeded in mixing so many different genres into one movie that actually made sense as well as creating a time travel centered film that embraced the absurdity of it all.

Jeff Daniel's character said one line that really stood out to me: "The movies that you’re dressing like are just copying other movies. Fucking 21st century effect. Do something new." And that's exactly what Rian Johnson did and continues to do.

All in all, Looper was a great film. I'm itching to watch it again.

I was left a bit confused, but after having some time to think it over, it's quite a great story. It's a simple character study between two men and their journey to cure themselves through each other. The visuals were just as stunning as the performances. If it's one thing PTA knows how to do, it's casting his roles. Joaquin chose one hell of a comeback. I'd be surprised if he didn't land himself an oscar for his role. Very well done.

One huge Family Guy episode. Entertaining but I wouldn't pay more than the $5 I paid to see it.
