Incredibly underrated. Excellent work, van Sant!

This is a fucking terrible movie, but the "Piss on hospitality" line is absolute genius.

Astonishing. I sat in silence for hours afterwards.

Hard to find this one on iCheck Movies. How come it doesn't show up as Sawdust and Tinsel?

A startling, cold film that's a tiny little 12 minute masterpiece. Contains one of the most disturbing openings I've ever seen. I definitely recommend it.

Incredible. A fantastic, amazing movie that must be seen by all lovers of cinema. One of the five best films ever made, on the ranks with Citizen Kane, The Godfather and The Seven Samurai.

Bunuel's best, absolutely. A fantastic film that makes no sense but is still genuinely brilliant in both ideas and execution.

One of Malle's best, both a precursor to Au Revoir les Enfants and a sequel of sorts to Murmur of the Heart.

A very underrated Haneke film. I love it.

A brilliant movie I will always love. Brutally honest about the lasting effects of sexual abuse, as well as playfully provocative about prejudice in modern society, Thomas Vinterberg's Dogme 95 classic is not to be missed.

John Cameron Mitchell is a provocative, powerful new force in independent cinema. Well done.

Definitely Haneke's best. An amazing, rawly brilliant movie that MUST be seen.

Godard's all-time best. A rough, incredibly disturbing film.

Definitely one of Solondz' best. A powerful film let down by an uneven second half, but the first thirty minutes are amazing.

"That man is a nig!" Fantastic, classic comedy at its best. Mel Brooks, we salute you.

A fitting companion to Dogville, though I liked its predecessor much better.

Von Trier at the peak of his career, predating other tales of searing martyrdom such as Dancer in the Dark. Terrific!

Wasn't bored for a second. Fantastic cinematography, flooring direction. Brilliant use of Arvo Part music, too.

All together, probably the greatest work of cinematic art in its vast genre.

Quite good, but nowhere near as good as Let the Right One In. Moretz is easily the highlight of this remake, her "vampire" is truly chilling. 7/10

The pool scene is one of the five best scenes ever filmed, IMO. Chilling, horrifying and awesome. 8/10

Fantastic movie from Gus van Sant. If you didn't think Gerry was the most boring movie on the planet, you'll like this. 8/10

A brilliant, clever, original movie. Loved the Tarantino-esque ending. Pure von Trier. 9/10
