It feels like he tried to fit a 4 or 4 hour movie into a tight 3 by cutting every opportunity for a moment to land. I felt like I was watching a YouTube cut on double speed. The constant cutting was just exhausting. No time to watch two characters cross a room, we'll just cut to them on the other side. Exhausting for 3 hours, I feel like it could've been a really great mini series

Simply intolerable.

I hate to say it, but this was a swing and a miss for me. Stunning visuals and amazing production/set design, but the thin plot left me bored and the novelty of a dystopian society just doesn't hit very hard decades later

Hey! Just like real life, where Richard Dreyfuss is a huge dick and abandons his wife and 3 children!

Excellent use of sound, or lack thereof. A must-see for any aspiring filmmaker.

Pretty good movie overall, although it feels like they really didn't know how to end it and did so abruptly. It felt like it almost had something to say about cancel culture but never fully articulated it. A great concept, though, and pretty enjoyable to watch.

A very cute little rom com that has just enough magic while keeping its feet firmly planted in reality. Definitely worth a watch if you're into that sort of thing.

Boring, full of heavy-handed exposition and deeply forgettable. Don't waste your time.

I guess this is the kind of movie you have to have grown up watching because watching as an adult, I found the characters to be unsympathetic, done in by their own incompetence. The 106 minute runtime felt like 3 hours and while the puppets were cute/impressive, you couldn't pay me enough to watch it again.

I love Katharine Hepburn, but I would sooner watch this than The Philadelphia Story every time. The songs! The costumes! It's all so charming.

As most people have noted, a great and entertaining movie, but my god, it's waay too long!

Too long, poorly paced, and didn't play into any of Baz Luhrman's strengths. Furthermore, it felt like two movies stitched together, instead of one long story. Probably not as bad as some reviews have said but certainly not good either

I was actually really disappointed in this. Aside from all the beautiful costumes and set decoration, it hardly felt like an Almodóvar movie. No moments of levity, no clever plot devices, just a long, sad, anticlimactic movie.

It was like they forgot to write jokes but still billed it as a comedy

Great movie, but make sure you watch Women on the Verge first so you can catch all the references.

Can't help but feel that a lot of the emotion in this is heavily influenced by his falling out with Carmen Maura. There were a lot of parallels that seem to mirror their situation.

I really thought I would enjoy this more, but it seemed to be sad for the sake of being sad.

I enjoyed it, but Tim Roth's accent was so bad, it kept taking me out of it.

Utter nonsense and some of the worst acting I've ever seen. Absolutely no world-building or explanation of magic beyond "it exists!" I thought it would be fun, but it was just excruciating

The best part was when they blew up MSG. I like to imagine they then rebuilt the old Penn Station

I concur with @traistboar. I'm still mad I watched the whole movie.
