What not to like about this film? it's length maybe?
Great directing, beautiful cinematography and good cast.
A film that feels like reading a novel, what a masterpiece!
I will be happy to see it in the Criterion Collection, it needs more recognition.

I really had high exceptions for this one, it's a criterion release, in 9 top lists and it has a good rating but it disappointed me.
Without mentioning that I've seen really good movies before for Michael Powell, Emeric Pressburger and Wendy Hiller!
