I didn't really enjoy it. I know it was influential and quite important especially for maybe having the first twist ending in film but I just found it quite average and boring, not the best from the 20's. I much preferred the likes of Metropolis, Faust and The Phantom Carriage.
The visuals were nice and the acting was top notch. Other than that I personally didn't really understand or see the point in this film. A cluster fuck of oddness and confusion that doesn't really grant you any entertainment.
Much more entertaining then the first Frankenstein film. The character of Frankenstein himself if a lot more developed as you see more of a human side to him. I felt a lot more sorry for him in this film then the first, Yet he's still has the ability to be frightening, when he's pissed off. Had to put up with the insufferable Minnie(Una O'connor) throughout the film though which was a drag. Non the less a great horror classic.
Agogulliver, you're right. Nowadays is nothing but boring. Fucking important and impressive (literally) but boring, in the end, as the title itself...
Can you please explain to me how this was ever important and impressive? In my opinion just more boring crap from the pretentious master that is Andy Warhol along with his art and other films, generic and boring, yet people like you jump on his pretentious bandwagon.
