This movie is intended for children before anything, as was the original. So all those looking for "character development" and oscar winning performances.. you obviously don't know how to choose your movies. Any fan of the original film will love this movie, it keeps true to the original concept with new protagonists and just the right amount of nostalgia.

I really loved it. It was really amazing how the writers were able to make a story out of all those great beatles songs.
Also, it always amazes me how people saw\y a movie is "Awful" when others say they love it and give to explanation, just because YOU didn't like it, does not make it awful buddy.
Enjoyed this movie a lot. Jack Black did a great job. Unfortunately i feel like this movie isn't going to be appreciated by newer generations that didn't grow up with VHS.
