Quite boring. Pretty images don't make the characters or story interesting. Obvious symbolism and metaphors tend to be lame when you don't make an ENTERTAINING/INTERESTING movie.

This felt like someone with a small budget trying to emulate Nicolas Winding Refn (to no avail).

Darren Aronofsky paints a vivid picture of the world from his eyes. Mother! is unflinching in its portrayal of the brutal truths of nature and mankind's place in it. I will be thinking about this one for a long time to come. I feel like the disgustingly poor reception to this film by audiences may be due to its absolute devotion to the truth . . . that, and it's 110% an art house film. Like it, hate it, it's one hell of a ride. 9-9.5/10

Do you like stock horror sound effects and violins blaring during literally every scary scene in a movie? Or maybe you really enjoy when young people say things that usually only adults say because that definitely doesn't get old after the first 3 times. You may even be a fan of bad child acting or super cheesy cliché dialogue even a film student wouldn't write. Do you just love when a really cool horror scene is ruined by weird movie trailer-like editing? Whatever tickles your fancy, you're sure to find it here.

I mean everything I said but seriously It was alright and did some pretty cool stuff at times. Shows so much potential but is ultimately ruined by editing and bad writing. 6/10

Dislike this s*** to show your support for hurricane Katrina. Thank you.

I'm gonna have to do some thinking with this one. I believe there is some very deep metaphorical stuff going on in this film that I am probably too unsophisticated to decipher. Anyways, this film affected me in ways I couldn't have foreseen. When the lights came on at the end, I felt like I had awoken from a nightmarish dream. This is unlike anything I (personally) have seen before. If you asked me to rate it an hour after seeing it I would give it an 8.5/10

I loved the books when I was a boy but my goodness, this film was remarkably unfunny and boring in my opinion. I think kids will love it though.

I know the majority of people don't agree with me here, and I'm perfectly fine with people liking Wonder Woman. However, I thought this movie was absolutely hilarious . . . except in the accidental way. In my opinion, this is an amazing bad movie. My friend and I could hardly keep in our laughter. Pretty average little zombie action movie. I'm glad people really like it, but I don't get the hype.

Very insightful and at times, darkly disturbing. Still, a sense of hope remains present throughout. An informative and well structured documentary with no agenda other than to unlock the truth.

This film is a darkly funny and harshly beautiful observation of life in 4 stages making comments on things from childhood naiveté to the state of the modern film industry. It's creative and heartbreaking and I love it.
