I had a chuckle over this quote at the very beginning: "I'm sure you can understand why our beloved parent company, Warner Bros., has decided to make a sequel to the trilogy. They informed me they're gonna do it with or without us."
From then on I tried to approach it with a sense of humour and basically just pretended it's fanfiction.
A'ight everyone, listen up. The maggot is his limp dick. The music is masturbation. The toothpaste is sperm. The two-faced person is the man's alter-ego. The woman is doing her best to please him and keeps trying to make sexual advances, which he ignores. He wants to be a "real macho man", like the man in the suit, and thinks his wife is not good enough for him. He kicks her out. This does not go well. He asks her to come back. She returns, rested and in a cool hat, only to realize that her husband has been nothing but an impotent loser all along, and tells him to go fuck himself. Like the broom, their family life is shattered. The End.
Oh, and btw in russian the word 'blue' is synonymous with 'gay', and to call someone a 'rooster' is to call them a 'queer'. So the man is likely a latent homosexual.
Don't take my words for granted, but this is my best take.
Oh man. I remember this being mentioned on meme channels about 10 years ago, now it pops up on the 500<400 list. Good job everyone. Next stops: iCheckMovies's Most Favorited, Doubling the Canon, UNESCO.
This left a sour taste in my mouth, not even so much because of the movie itself, but because even 45 years later, this is still the mindset of so many people out there.
"We just saw some creepy stuff happen with our own eyes. Let's get separated and collect our equipment! Then let's split up more and look for the lost guy." Classic...
