I can say it was very entertaining, but that premise, my god.. I'm not a big expert on the history of mexican snacks, and I was thinking maybe it's a movie about the guy who invented the burrito. Then, maybe the nachos at least. But a new Cheeto flavor? And it's not even a credible story? COME ON! What's next? The green onion Lays origin story? Let's start the Frito-Lay Cinematic Universe!
Not really boring but I didn't find a single character to like, or to care about, and that's a bigger problem than any runtime. Those Indians were apparently too dumb to live. It was like watching a true crime slasher turning into a courtroom drama with The Whale cameo.
So it IS possible to make a decent, heartwarming romantic comedy without a single cliche. And it still feels fresh and original 40 years later - well, except for the haircuts.. those are the worst, an absolute nightmare.

Lon Chaney wants to die ASAP - check, a billiant scientist going from "I want to understand the mystery of your immortality" to "I WILL GIVE YOU THE POWER OF 1000 PEOPLE HAHAHAHA!!!" - check, angry mob in the end - check.
