This movie felt very video-game-esque. While I was entertained throughout the movie, I just couldn't stop thinking about how each scene would be played if it were a game.

Mr Montage

A hidden gem of romantic cinema. A shame thought that it was made under Nazi Germany and so it's nowadays almost impossible to see anywhere.

The animation was fascinating, but I was hoping there would have been more live action as the movie progressed. This movie has all the makings of becoming a cult movie.

A little bit slow paced at the start, a but man what movie once it got going. Also was that a anti-spoiler PSA during the end credits?

People tend to use this as an example that deep down Adam Sandler is a great actor, but I disagree. I personally think this film is a testament on how great a director Paul Thomas Anderson is, if he can get a great performance out of someone like Adam Sandler he must really know his craft.

When you think about it this is movie making at it's most distilled form. The whole movie takes place in one room and it has only two characters and yet it is an absolutely captivating experience.

A really bad movie with mesmerizingly bad dialogue. If it were made with a small budget it could be classified as "so bad that it's good" but with the amount of money spend on this they should have known better.

I think this movie is quite daring considering it was made during the height of the Hays code. The amount of implied sexual activity is quite impressive
