I've seen the documentary. I know the story. I know how it ends. And still, this film had me going through so many emotions and hoping Philippe would make it; hoping that everything was going to be okay. Maybe it's my total rational fear of heights, but there were moments I was scared to death. And any film making me feel such strong emotions -even if it has its flaws- makes for a great film.

Well, that was dull.

And I found the cinematography rather annoying. What's with the yellowish tint? Also the used lenses were awful; quite a lot of chromatic aberration in high contrast shots, and unsharpness in the corners wide-angle shots.

I liked it - it tells important stories most of us can relate to these days and it did so with a great soundtrack and great cinematography. I was also pleasantly surprised by the dramatic performance of Jason Bateman, given that he usually plays more comedic roles. The other acting performances were also great.

Nice movie overall. Statham is strong as always; the story was predictable but quite okay; Lopez wasn't that bad. The worst thing was the level of 'fakeness' in the visual effects: blood, gunshot wounds, fire/fireworks, spoiler - that all looked really, really fake.

Nice soundtrack, the rest was just rubbish.

Damn. That first half hour was so boring and I got really annoyed by the main characters' stupidity, I just had to turn it off.

It is visually stunning, yes, extremely stunning even — it easily beats out cinematography and visual effects of most of today's films. However: everything else isn't that great: it's slow, too long and most of the music doesn't fit well with the images. The themes are interesting, but the larger part of the film was sometimes hard to follow — making it feel even slower and more boring — and could've used some explanation or narration.

A tad too long, but everything else was great. Especially loved the soundtrack and cinematography - that bird's eye view-shot following the car in the beginning of the film; and the tilting shot from under the top of the Golden Gate Bridge were fantastic. Also great performances by Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo and Brian Cox.

Loved the dialogue, loved the action scenes, loved the comedy, loved the cinematography (as I all do with previous Tarantino films); but damn, that was a slow-moving film - really a downer for me.

Loved it! Great British humour and I really, really don't mind looking at Emily Blunt for over 90 minutes :D

BTW, those fake teeth on Martin Freeman were quite scary :#

Too much Disney, too little Pixar. Sure, the animation was great and so were the voices (Billy Connolly is amazing) and soundtrack + original music; but the story was just 'meh'. Quite predictable from what Disney has done in earlier films... Some sort of Beauty and the Beast meets Brother Bear.

There are terrible things happening in this film, and it's even more sad to learn that it is inspired by actual events. Nevertheless it's a story that has to be told and I think this film does a great job in telling it; for which Rachel Weisz deserves a great a mount of credit for her strong performance.

Strong acting from the ensemble cast and I thought the lighting and cinematography were quite nice. I could really feel the suspense in the first half of the film, which was nice, but it did make it feel a little slow. The second half was moving a bit faster. Overall a nice film.

Amazing performance by Daniel Day Lewis (Lincoln). Tommy Lee Jones (Stevens) and Peter McRobbie (Pendleton) were also great.

The film was quite long, but I never really got bored because of the funny dialogue every now and then.

Terrible, terrible movie... But it did made me laugh a few times — just the kind of 'so bad it's good' type of film.

You get what you would expect from a Sacha Baron Cohen film: jokes about racism, sex, and so on... But most of them are really funny :)

And his speech at the UN really, really nailed it — great way to get the USA to reflect their political choices.

Not a very unique story, but greatly written and executed very well. The chemistry between the actors reflects very well on screen and I think it's really funny :)

It took quite some time before the film really started, and after that the story wasn't great. It has some nice CGI and jokes, but it feels like it wants a one-liner too hard.

After seeing all the films in the Harry Potter-saga, this one remains my absolute favourite. This film is the only one in the saga that stays very close to the original material. It really feels grown up compared to the first two films and added an air of 'grimness' the following films developed further on.

Every time that slow clap kicks in when they've crashed, I have to cry a little, such an amazing and supportive moment.
