Very pleasant experience. Even as I was predicting some of the plot development, it still managed to throw plenty of effective curve balls and keep me hooked all the way through. The music was also very engaging. Overall a fantastic film, especially as a directorial debut.
A young Jon Daher stars in this gut-wrenching slingshot action flick. A true gem of the '90s and an even truer snapshot of what it means to be the baddest boy on the block. I cried, really.
Terrible. Boring. It's just some boring couple talking 95% of the time and being as regular as possible, and then some occasional "scares" happen. There's nothing special about this movie. I truly wish I could buy my time back.
Boring and repetitive for the first 3/4ths of the movie, with some decent action at the end (and I don't even care about action; I appreciate a good drama). Wasn't gripping or suspenseful in any way. I really wanted to like this. Nope.
I saw this darling little motion picture back in the summer of 2004 on the Independent Film Channel, and let me tell you: It was indie as ever. 1997 was a great year (as we all know), and this movie just adds another notch on the leather belt of '97. Hardly any checks, not on any lists, and I'm the only reviewer. Rack up your indie film cred and see this movie -- pronto! Unless, of course, you're too busy watching Step Brothers in a Zumies somewhere.
A charming and underrated comedy from the early '90s that seems to truly capture the spirit of the era. This cute little gem is more than cute -- it's a classic!

Watched it for three reasons: Charles Grodin starring; John Hughes screenplay; 1992 release. Still terrible.Movie comment on The Guest

I agree with two hot points: Amazing soundtrack, and the first half of the movie is the better half. Worth watching.Movie comment on Hush

Not bad, especially for only four actors and one small setting. The lack of jump scares was appreciated too. Worth watching.Movie comment on Ex Machina

Very few things are better than a ninja slashing up some golfers, running from the cops, then climbing up a palm tree and into a helicopter.Movie comment on Dennis the Menace

One of the best soundtracks ever. Lots of '80s nostalgia and corny jokes to smile at as well. Underrated for what it is -- a good cheesy movie.Movie comment on Lawrence of Arabia

Good movie, if you want great cinematography and zero suspense. Nothing about this movie kept me hooked. But it wasn't terrible, for what it was.Movie comment on Aliens

Red-headed devil children are SUCH lovable rascals, and this piece of cinematic purity from 1990 proves it!Movie comment on Taking Care of Business
