So beautiful and so underrated! Unusually lifelike, especially coming from MGM. Upper class all right, but you can easily relate to those characters and their dramas anyway. It's Lamarr's best work for sure, and so is Young's (he was much more than just Father Knows Best). Excellent direction by Vidor, now I should read the book. Go see it!
