The plot is a little harder to follow in this, and I was more conscious of the fact that it was a film rather than reality, but it is still worth watching, especially if you've seen the first one.
I love that foreign horror films scare you in unexpected ways. Growing up, I was conditioned to fear the closet, the hallway, and under the bed. Not public restrooms, stairs, and elevators.
Very creepy, and worth watching.
I was not expecting the scene at the end. I think it shocked me, actually. But I like that so much of this movie was about books, because I love books.
Though a little muddled in the plot, the acting in this film makes watching it worthwhile. Individual scenes are done very well and it illumes a lot of the personal life of Edith Piaf I'm sure many fans would not have known otherwise.
I knew nothing about the film when I first watched it, and I liked it a lot, especially for the originality and seamlessness of the plot. It is probably best known for the film noir style it embraces. It may come off as hard to follow or empty to those not used to the genre.
An interesting movie, I remember wanting to watch it for years. When I finally did, I know I felt very satisfied and that I liked the film, but I can't remember anything striking about the film. It didn't make an impression on me.
I think this is an under-appreciated film. Not only is it beautifully shot and beautiful to watch, but it tells its story from a fairly historically accurate and interesting perspective. Historically accurate for the time, of course. The soundtrack is also quite good.
Considered a cult film, Suburbia had me hooked from the opening with the baby-eating dog.
It captures the discontent and inherent goodness in youth misunderstood.
The Man Who Fell to Earth is the saddest movie I've seen in a long time. It was nothing I could have wanted while being everything I could have hoped for.

A beautifully filmed movie. You get sucked into Miss Golightly's furniture-less world very easily.Movie comment on Good Night, and Good Luck.

Interesting and magical-- especially the soundtrack. And, as is necessary of all good fairy tales, tinged with violence and sorrow.Movie comment on Suburbia
