I was rooting for this to be a good movie, and it was, for maybe five iconic minutes sort of towards the end. But the rest of it-- dull, dull, dull. And tedious! There's only so much Johnny Depp can do with a script, and there wasn't much of one to begin with.
KStew's grimacing and wooden acting almost ruined the movie for me. Otherwise, it was compelling enough to make me care what happened at the end. Theron was pitch-perfect as the queen and Hemsworth is quickly proving himself to be a bankable leading man.
This was an exceptional movie-- forget the plot, it's all about the stunts. They will blow you away! Two words: Burj Khalifa. Saw it in IMAX, and it was totally worth it.
No masterpiece, but enjoyable and fun, two qualities that are essential for a summer blockbuster like this. Gyllenhaal was pretty impressive, and after the first few minutes you get used to his accent. Didn't really like Gemma Aterton too much. Her voice grates like no other.
I was riveted. It may be "typical," but the movie had lots of heart and plenty of kickass moments in equal measure. It was also engaging-- there were parts where they were shooting the aliens and the entire audience was like, "Yeah! Take that!" Overall, I really enjoyed it; in this movie you'll never want for action, at the very least.

It was okay, but the original was way better. This one just lacked... heart, emotion, something. Way too slick and under-acted.Movie comment on Snow White and the Huntsman

This had so much potential. I really wanted to like it but unfortunately, nothing really happened. The ending was terrible and such a letdown.Movie comment on John Carter

Decent effects, storyline was interesting enough, but it was overly long. Kind of meh, but a fun popcorn flick, I suppose.Movie comment on Cowboys & Aliens

I don't know where you can post suggestions, but if someone sees this, maybe you could consider doing something like this in the future:Make actors searchable.
That way you can look up an actor and check off all the movies they were in instead of trying to search each individual movie.
