Somehow I didn't see this one until this very moment. Luckily, I got to see it on the big screen which really does justice to the beautiful images. The Coen Brothers still succeed in surprising me- this one being far more serious than most of them, with the almost complete absence of the typical Coen humor- made me left speechless for a while. Touching (once again) on the book of job and exploring the emptiness of the protagonist worked excellent with the choice of shooting in black and white.
I can understand why some will not enjoy this one as it's a bit different from most of the other ones (even 'A Serious Man' was a bit more comical).
The Coen Brothers have already explored many genres and styles (yet, always with a clear touch of their own)- this one was still quite different from the others and I absolutely loved it.
Went to see it with the hope it would be such a dumb comedy I'd enjoy it, but sadly I didn't. Felt way too long and only had a few half laughs and could have been easier funnier. Above that, the acting was most of the time disturbingly bad. 2/5.
I'm generally not a fan of musicals but Singing' in the Rain proved to be one of the few I actually really enjoyed. It's funny, the songs/dances are good, and the story itself is enjoyable. No clue why I waited so long to give it a try but if you're hesitating because generally speaking musicals aren't your thing, just give this one a try.
The film missed so much of the athmosphere and the characters described in the book. I can't say the movie is bad but they could've done easily a better job. I'd say it's better to read the book first, you will better understand the characters and all the other things the film didn't get right. The acting and shots were okay/good. I just can't stand Keira Knightley but that's my personal opinion.
Masterpiece. Stunning, brutal, emotional. Can't describe the film with enough words. Living with someone you love so much, living with someone you're going to lose. Very subtle and intelligent. When the film is over, no music, just the credits no body could move before the lights were on.
Not something you will see often again, but essential to see once in your life.
Sad that not that much people know this movie. The images are beautiful, simple but beautiful story. Delicious to watch after a long day of work, It's funny and touching. Very good.

Absolutely, without a doubt a great film. Watch it on a big screen with good (and loud) speakers to experience it at its best.Movie comment on The Bling Ring
