If this is a fine entry in the series, the series is really not worth looking into.. Unbelievable and dumb characters, way too many stupid decisions and bad communication turning into misunderstandings. Just cheap.

Humor was on point though, the father and the babysat kid were hilarious.

I have to say, one of the things I loved most about this film was the editing. Phenomenally comical, I laughed so much more than I'd anticipated. If you don't take it too seriously, you're bound to have a good time.

I disagree with most of you here. I found this movie very bad, boring and non-scary.

Pacing- and stylewise very akin to Unbreakable. If you go in expecting superhero showdown Avengers-style, you will be sorely disappointed. I mostly liked it even though I was surprised about a lot of the elements.

And as 'tomsalad' said, James McAvoy is just magnificent. Absolute powerhouse performance, a joy to watch. One moment menacingly serious, the next comically silly. Just incredible acting.

Horrendous movie. I usually sit through them anyway, and give them a chance to redeem themselves, but this was straight up horseshit. It tries to be Love Actually, but each story is incredibly unfulfilling and rushed. It's plagued by the absolute worst kind of "tell-don't-show" voiceover, and all the lovestories are unbelievably clichéed and creamy.

Cardboard-characters with teenage cry-rock, and the completely misunderstood use of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" in one of the early scenes, was just excruciating.

I made it halfway. I advise you to not even start.

I mean, I understand what people are saying and everything, but if they made a hundred of these, I would watch every single one. Twice.

I think the horror-category is the hardest to scour for good films. I've been doing this a lot recently, and I've been disappointed with A LOT of the films I ended up seeing.

But The Autopsy of Jane Doe really did it for me! It's well made, atmospheric, nicely shot and scored, and the actors do a good job (nice to see Emile Hirsch in a horror flick!). There are definitely elements that'll split the waters among the audience, but overall I'd absolutely recommend it.

Simply put: If you liked the first one, you're going to like this one. I know I did.

Expert filmmaking. One of my absolute favorites.

Like the characters in the film, I believe the bigger picture is of greater importance, and that's why it's alright for me that the characters are veiled and mysterious. They are components in a beautiful allegory.

Sicario is seething with darkness, and with its descent into the abyss, it makes you ponder answers to questions you don't understand.

Phenomenal.

I love a stupid action flick every now and then. I really liked The A-Team, and have seen it maybe 4 times now. It's a no-brainer that's entertaining if you like B Cooper and Liam Neeson.

All Things Must Pass is a documentary about the history of the music distribution industry from the late 60s, told through the eyes of Tower Records founder Russ Solomon, and the rest of his team. It's a great story with a lot of heart, and connecting with the energy and vibe of those people and that era, was sweet.

A twist at the end doesn't excuse unbelievable characters. All of them seem incredibly unlikable, and their actions never seem justified because their reasoning, in the eyes of the viewer (me), isn't sound. That bothered me a lot.

I don't know, maybe I caught it on the wrong night, but I didn't find it even remotely scary or entertaining. Definitely annoying and infuriating. I wouldn't recommend it, and I certainly think it's IMDb rating is at least a full point too high.

Yeeah! I loved this movie! Solid entertainment. It's style over substance, and it is awesome. I wouldn't call this a horror film though. More sort of a, Tarantino-meets-Home-Alone cocktail with some great stereotypical cardboard characters, all set in an 80s-vibe pop-culture comedy thingy.

The Babysitter is a super cool film, and I highly recommend it, if you're not a snob. No offense.

Hereditary is a horrorfilm. In the original sense of the word. Horror.

I am a big fan of the first Ant-Man movie. I love Paul Rudd, and I think a lot of great things came out of his first time as a Marvel Superhero. So I had been looking forward to the follow-up, hoping for another good time at the movies. But what a disappointment. This was just dropped on the floor, it's like they didn't even try.

This film is just not good. I absolutely disagree with frankqb though, that Marvel's films are not "good" films. They definitely can be, and we've seen great examples of this. Iron Man, The Winter Soldier, some of these films pack a strong punch.

But Ant-Man & The Wasp was just bad. And what's with the title? They barely did anything together. Would've been better titled Ant-Man: Quantum.

In Bruges is a masterpiece in scriptwriting. If not for the magnificent acting, setting, characters, directing etc., watch it for the dialogue. Absolutely brilliant, and one of my personal favourites.

The sequel to Pacific Rim had a lot of difficulty picking up speed. I found the whole intro very dull and unnecessary. However, I did find a lot of redeeming factors throughout the film. The humour was, at times, on point and managed to make me laught out loud multiple times, which is very important when watching pure, no-brain entertainment. The fights were awesome.

All in all, I find the current 6.1/10 IMDb rating to be pretty accurate, but I don't regret spending 2 hours on this robot-rumbler.

I enjoyed parts of it and it left me feeling happy, which is what I like so much about this kind of I-know-it's-cliché-but-it's-alright comedy. But there is just too much going on, and most of it is superflous.

This kind of film should tell it's story in 90-105 minutes and be done with it. This Is 40 rambles on for 137 minutes, and it just doesn't hold up. With a tightened edit, you'd be left with a great cast, a good setup and lots of fun. It's too bad you have to be bored in between the good bits.

I had to go to the very bottom to find the comment I agree the most with. What's great about Train to Busan? The zombies. They are incredibly well-made and realistic. Probably the best I've seen from the genre.

Everything else is generic or sub-par. I lost my interest halfway through. The script was just so disappointing,
and it dragged on and on. Would recommend watching a few scenes for the zombies, but not the entire movie, honestly.

I came in with low expectations, but after watching this, I am thoroughly surprised about the 6.0 IMDb rating. He did so well! Very likeable guy, but he also knows how to tell a joke. And it takes balls to end on improv.

Check it out!

I love when romcoms go beyond what you've come to expect the genre. Well, what I've come to expect anyways: something to watch when you don't really feel like really engaging in a movie.

I just finished watching Crazy, Stupid Love, and it really got me. I was drawn in immediately. The characters are great, and not silly two-dimensional cardboars cut-outs. Sure, there are loads of clichees, but I don't always find that bad. Not when they're delivered like they were in this story.

A solid recommendation from me, that's for sure.

I just rewatched this piece of movie history for the fourth time. God, what a masterpiece. It is everything a great film should be. There is nothing I don't like, save Skarsgårds character, and that's one I'm supposed to dislike. The big love, the father figure, the best friend, the gang and at the center of it all, a brilliant and tormented kid, scared shitless.

This, is what movies are all about.

What an adrenaline rush! I absolutely loved it. I don't know if hype is clouding my judgement, but I think this movie was very well executed, and though it has it's flaws, is a very worthy entry in the Cloverfield universe.

Not flawless, but a welcome new sci-fi favorite in my book.

The plot gives itself away too soon, making the rest of the feature a wait for the inevitable. It has a lot of things going for it (eg Denzel), but ultimately it is simply too predictable.

This is one of those films you won't truly get until you've viewed it more than once. I really liked the atmosphere, the acting, the awkwardness and the ending. Even though I've only seen it the one time, and I sure as hell don't understand exactly what it is that I've seen, I enjoyed it for what it was.

I wouldn't compare it to Lost in Translation because the two, I'd say, are quite different.
