Not a great movie, but taking the MCU to interesting places. Emphasis on women, muslims, mythology and bilinguality — not to forget cats — makes this an interesting entry of the franchise.
Actually yes, I do want to know. With that I don't mean the motives of the perpetrators, but why others let genocide happen. What were the motives and interests behind the UN decisions to NOT intervene at that point? Why did the Dutch troops act as they did? This is all just mentioned in passing, but not explained in the film, which is a pity.
This is pretty long, but stays interesting throughout. Beautifully interweaves storyline and the Chechov play the actors are rehearsing in the movie. Appealing on many levels.
