If you can't appreciate the awesome cheesiness of Tom Cruise saying "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED." with a straight face, then I don't think I want to know you.
Preposterously hilarious. I still laugh out loud just thinking of some of the scenes. The fact that the antagonists are called "The Evil Team" is probably one of the greatest things ever.
Fantastically well-made, excellently acted movie. Gosling proves himself to be incredibly likable with very few words. The pacing is perfect. I already watched it twice, and complaints that it's too slow isn't really warranted. It's set up very well, and once it ramps up, it quickly turns into one of the most tense, visceral movies of the year. Understandably not for everyone, but I'm surprised with how much other people in the theater with me seemed to like it. There were audible gasps during particular scenes involving a dressing room and an elevator (unfortunately, not spoilers thanks to a disappointing trailer). A very special movie that takes a lot from a particular aesthetic and turn it into something truly unique.
Thought this was great. I'm glad they took the direction they took in making this film. It felt like it was made with a lot of passion, not just for film, but for the character and the world that Captain America inhabits.
I'm pretty glad it wasn't dark and cerebral. Captain America isn't a particularly complex character. But just because it isn't complex doesn't make it bad, it just makes for an incredibly likeable character in this case. Captain America is someone you love rooting for, and you want him to success, because his intentions are so noble and he wants no part in being an anti-hero (Which, I predict, will make an interesting dynamic with Iron Man in the Avengers film). Besides, the ending is a bit grim in and of itself isn't it? It might be one of the most fun Avengers films, but it certainly has the darkest ending, in my opinion.
All in all, fun movie, great performances, and it totally could've worked as a standalone movie (which is something I feel that few of the Avengers movies could actually do).
I went to see this a couple months ago at an early screening. It is now halfway through 2011, this movie still hasn't come out yet, and it's still the funniest thing I've seen all year.

Eh.Alan Rickman was the best part.
It looked pretty good.
Acting was spotty. Some great moments, and some really "wow, ugh" moments.
Adding the epilogue felt dumb.

Has nothing to do with Bruce Lee, and it's more of an exploitation of the infamous Game of Death than anything else.Still, a surprisingly well-made action film with some excellent fight scenes.
