I love movies. No, seriously, I do. I'm no critic, film student, filmmaker, etc I just know what I like and why I like it. My tastes vary greatly although recently I have been getting much more into foreign films. I'm not "elitist", however, and believe a 'mainstream' release can be just as good as an indie film and vice versa. Undoubtedly, my favorite genre is horror. I can and will watch just about any and everything in this category. I am a huge fan of subtle horror with mood, atmosphere, tension and slow buildups. That's not to say I don't love hack-n-stacks, but for a movie to truly "scare" me minimalism is usually better. I love to share opinions and ideas, particularly about movies.
