I only started watching movies on a regular basis about 7 years ago. The funny thing is that the more movies I see, the more I realize there's still so much uncharted territory for me to uncover. But hey, that's exactly why this relatively new hobby of mine gives me so much pleasure.
I'll watch about anything, but I tend to move a bit towards Asian cinema, contemporary movies and anything that's slightly or extremely weird.
This fascination with movies comes in spurts. There will be weeks or months I will barely watch anything, just because there are so many other itches to scratch. I love books (if you want to keep up with what I'm reading, take a look at my blog at https://boekuitroepteken.nl), I am a music critic for a Dutch/Belgian magazine, and I watch an unhealthy amount of sports (but I also like to get active myself so it's not that unhealthy). Besides all these fun ways to spend my days I work as a caretaker at a retirement home (which is also a lot of fun). So many great things, so little time...
