Criterion Collection Stand-Alone Extras
Favs/dislikes: 27:0. Films included on Criterion collection titles in addition to the main feature. These are both long and short films, however the only requirement is that they are not a traditional 'extra' about the film, like a making of film or an interview. They are instead an additional film, often by that director, that could easily stand alone (if a full feature) or in a compilation (if a short film). Note: this does not include individual episodes of portmanteau films -
CriterionForum Lists Project - 2000s (Version 2.0)
Favs/dislikes: 27:0. At the end of the discussion period they each submit lists of their fifty favorite films from the decade, and those lists are then compiled into a top 100, as well as a list of "also-rans" (the films which received more than one vote, but not enough to make the top 100.) This list includes both the top 100 and the "also-rans." These are the results of the poll conducted from July 2009-January 2010. -

Pixar Directors Recommend: Films for Kids Under 13
Favs/dislikes: 27:0. "You’re stuck inside, saving the world. So we asked a group of award-winning Pixar filmmakers to help self-isolating families plan the very best movie nights (and days, and nights, and days…). We asked a group of the renowned studio’s directors and story artists—the people behind WALL·E, Finding Nemo, Inside Out, Bao, La Luna, The Good Dinosaur, Purl, Cars 3, Toy Story 4 and more—to show up in your hour of need, and show up they have, with personal recommendations that we’ve split into three Letterboxd lists: All Ages, 7 to 12 Years and 12 Years and Over. From two-minute shorts to the entire Harry Potter collection, there’s something for every viewing window. From Charlie Chaplin to Greta Gerwig, the films cover a century of cinema; and from slapstick to horror, a multitude of genres. Our filmmakers were remarkably restrained, nominating more Studio Ghibli films than Pixar movies, though they collectively agreed that Toy Story should most definitely be there. So we’ll say it for them: please explore all the films of our contributing filmmakers: Angus MacLane, Domee Shi, Kristen Lester, Daniel Chong, Peter Sohn, Valerie LaPointe, Brian Fee, Enrico Casarosa and Andrew Stanton. Thanks, you wonderful people." This list combines the first two lists that Letterboxd created with the Pixar directors, to present a selection of films suitable to watch with children under the age of 13. Some film series explicitly include all films in the series, even though only the first film is included in the Letterboxd lists (see their notes for more information): Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter. Powell & Pressburger Filmography
Favs/dislikes: 27:0. A complete list of the film collaborations between Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger (a.k.a. The Archers) "I think that a film should have a good story, a clear story, and it should have, if possible, something which is probably the most difficult thing - it should have a little bit of magic...Magic being untouchable and very difficult to cast, you can't deal with it at all. You can only try to prepare some nests, hoping that a little bit of magic will slide into them." (Emeric Pressburger) -
