An insufferably pompous, gorgeous and well-meaning film. Full of hypocritical truths directed at developing countries, it seems to say 'look developed countries have caused this, and we've had all the fun, but you can't do what we've done'. Baraka knocks this into a cocked hat.
We know what we need to do, it would be difficult and extremely uncomfortable, so it will no happen. This film, although nice to look at, will not change a thing.

I too thought it would be a nice nature doc. The narration gets tiresome.Punksolid
