   An achingly beautiful, mind-bending, existential quest film/acid western set in 19th century Argentina. It certainly won't be for everyone (very slow, very weird) but there's no denying that it's one of a kind. I loved it. 9 years 6 months ago

   I watched this as I've always been a fan of Viggo Mortensen and I liked Alonso's earlier work, Los Muertos. I'm not sure what to make of this movie, yes it looks pretty but the end was just weird and in a way nothing much happens during most of it. Can't say I enjoyed it very much. I did like that it was almost like a silent film but it should've had more of a plot in my opinion. 7 years 4 months ago
