   Absolutely harrowing experience, speaking as someone who hasn't seen Alive (1993) and only knew the basic outlines of the story.
   It's a bit long maybe, but I guess that's very fair for a movie depicting the arduous struggle to survive. 3 months 3 weeks ago

   The avalanches were actually at night but I can see what they changed that. They didn't mention the plane wasn't designed to fly that high, that it was old and the copilot made a mistake and they turned North too soon.
   
   Emotional film.. I had seen Alive before.
