Annoyingly stupid and bad. It's a mystery how they managed to snag such a fat cast, but make sure to avoid watching this movie if you want to keep your positive opinions about anyone involved. The whole thing felt like a ham-fisted insult to Russia.
The story should have been about an American sub instead. The way it stands now, it's just a drawn out mess of errors and terrible plot fails.

Really terrible. I hope I'm not the only one who can't take seriously a bunch of American actors playing Russians without even bothering to put on accents. It's a bad joke, it really is. It pales in comparison to the average submarine movie. 7 years ago -
