Had no idea what to expect so I guess I wasn't disappointed, it certainly is a quirky movie that feels all over the place. Had no idea it was from a book, it certainly felt like the source material had been established somehow.

Still better than Twilight, though...

This movie had a really good soundtrack especially the video/song "Forsaken"... but apart from Stuart Townsend plays Lestat, the film itself is ridiculous compared to the book, and especially in comparison to the prequel "Interview with the Vampire".
Would be nice if remake films to follow all the existing Rice's Vampire Chronicles books.
