It's a very interesting and somewhat perplexing movie. Well acted and thought out but at the same time you might be asking yourself "exactly what am I watching here?" Bogart plays one of his classic gangster roles and Claire Trevor sparkles in one of her traditional queen of crime roles. At its heart is Edward Robinson who gives a convincing performance as a doctor obsessed with criminology and willing to go to great lengths to complete his research. Even though the plot is fairly simple I honestly didn't know what would happen next. 8 years 7 months ago
