A much greater film than people give it credit for, however with it's fair share of flaws. Underrated flash of western.
Merely seeing Nicholson and Brando together makes this film interesting and entertaining.
Love Brando's accent as a drunk Irishman. 10 years 7 months ago -

Brando left to his own devices: sometimes it pays and sometimes it doesn't. Strange editing and dubbing obviously meant to cover up errors or lack of footage. Tone-deaf place to force a romance plot too. Still-- an interesting, sometimes charming failure. 2 years 11 months ago -

Dissapointing western. Great cast and director but weak story and characters. Just because Brando is eccentric doesn't make him always great. Overlong and violent. No this wasn't great 3 years ago
