Cult-tastic. Petersen is very successful in portraying the cocky 80's douche bag.I don't think I've ever seen a film where so many people get kicked in the balls.

Absolutely fantastic in every way. The only disappointing aspect comes with realizing that William Petersen never really had a role in any other great films. Sad to see his talent wasted away on CSIAdrian B AWESOME
With this, Friedkin arguably caps off the fourth masterpiece of his career (along with Exorcist, French Connection, and Sorcerer) and delivers one of the defining action films of the 1980s. What's more, he's basically doing Michael Mann better than Michael Mann.
