Very good sense of humour, very fun film. The start of the film is the best, with Tucker and Dale completely unaware of the death going on around them. The less innocent Tucker and Dale are the less intelligent the film is.

Despite that the teen deaths are uniformly excellent and it maintains a cheesiness throughout that works as excellent satire of modern horror.

Not as good as Cabin in the Woods (though this could just be personal preference), but definitely a worthwhile flick.

8/10

Absolutely brilliant post-modern comedy-horror hybrid that flips the slasher genre upside down.

Thoroughly enjoyed the first half; it was really funny. It was let down a little by the second half.

An extremely fun slasher flick parody in which the creepy hillbillies are the rather sweet heroes and the college kids become victims of their own fears and paranoia. How the Three's Company-level misunderstandings pile up just as quickly as the bodies do is very funny, and takes the edge off the gore that is necessarily part of the slasher tropes being turned on their heads. It's by the makers of Zombieland, so if you enjoyed that, it's more of the same tone. Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk show a lot of heart in the central roles, and their "scream queen", Katrina Bowden (you know her as Cerie in 30 Rock) is open-faced and likeable, even if she dresses, well, like an escapee from one of the films being lampooned. If you haven't gotten onto this particular pick-up truck, I heartily recommend you do so.

Whenever i think of the best comedies I've seen in the last 10 years, this movie comes to mind.

I really liked this film, taken from a good point of view. Not the schoolkids are innocent, but the hillbillys. Now I know that all slashersmovies are based on the lack of communication

This was pretty good for a horror-comedy. Not Shaun of the Dead territory, but not a B-movie, either. Plenty of good horror movie stereotypes taken advantage of. I love Alan Tudyk, so I enjoyed this movie.

this was a great movie. so refreshing from all the gorefests we see so often these days when writers don't know how to legitimately scare people. a great parody of such b-grade movies

Nice alternative perspective on the genre, got a good few laughs out of me during the first half. It ran dry around the middle since it had pulled its best punches early on, but still worth the watch!

By the way, I don't understand why some users (one in particular on this page, nudge nudge) spout hatred towards movies they clearly aren't suited to watching. Lighten up.

Cute movie. More hits than misses, but if you want an excellent indie comedy/horror may I suggest Murder Party as a superior alternative.

I kinda loved this. Its got a lot of charm and is possibly the funniest film I've seen in 2011. I laughed till my sides hurt and my cheeks were sore from smiling.
