Concert Movies
Favs/dislikes: 7:0. In this list I will try to collect all the concert movies I come across. I'm more than happy to take suggestions by PM or in the comment section. This list is sorted by the year of release. Note: some of these films are not concert recordings. There are some documentaries with scenes from live shows, and some that are tour films. I have gone through all of them manually, but there might be some films listed that don't belong here at all. Please send me a PM or write it in the comments section if you stumble upon any. -

Horror! 333 Films to Scare You to Death
Favs/dislikes: 36:0. "This unique and definitive guide to the dark side of cinema, made by a team of horror experts headed by James Marriott and Kim Newman, (...) contains details of 333 key horror films that you just have to see and gives you extensive information on every one of them". Note: Despite of the title, the book has 334 entries... -
Jared Auner's WorldWeird Cinema
Favs/dislikes: 12:0. "The weirdest, the strangest, the oddest cinema from the farthest reaches of the globe. No Ozu, No Godard, No Antonioni, nothing so respectable. Only sleaze, horror, action, fantasy, whatever. The undefinable, the unnacceptable, the unreal." -
Luminous Revelations

Film Noir Everywhere Everywhen
Favs/dislikes: 3:0. My favorite films noir. I'm of the belief that noir - indefinable and elusive as it is - exists throughout most of film history, and in most countries, so if you're a traditionalist who thinks it has to be American, b/w, and extends only from The Maltese Falcon in 1941 until Touch of Evil in 1958... this list is not for you. Top 65 titles ranked, thereafter in chronological order. -

Movies I like
Favs/dislikes: 1:2. Always wanted a movie theater with that name, but this will have to do for now. I never went to film school, but lists like 1001 must see and 1000 TSPDT have been mine. It is a life goal to get as high on the rankings of this as possible while hopefully making some of my own that will make it on a few people's list someday soon. Until then, I hope you all enjoy the several Multiple Personalities that my favorite choices obviously shows that I have. :-) -

Masters of cinema on Blu Ray
Favs/dislikes: 12:0. This list is the little brother of the official list https://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/masters+of+cinema/ and only features the releases of the masters of cinema/eureka label on blu ray. From the Masters of cinema website: "Blu-ray is the most immersive and faithful representation of "the cinema experience" currently available in the home today (outside of a costly 35mm projector). Unfortunately, the industry has poorly explained and demonstrated the technology, sowing confusion and giving the impression that Blu-ray is not enough of a worthwhile upgrade from DVD. When compared with an actual 35mm frame, the DVD format — now well into its second decade as the world's favourite film-holding receptacle — is akin to a Polaroid of an oil painting. Watchable, but capable of being far surpassed. Blu-ray is the first home format to adequately represent the depth and texture of celluloid — and in a Blu-ray marketplace overflowing with mainstream tat, we aim to offer a nourishing alternative. Consequently, we heartily recommend upgrading to a multi-region Blu-ray player. We released our first Blu-ray in November 2008 and the format is currently our main focus." The list is ranked according to the blu-ray spine numbers given by masters of cinema, but because some numbers contain more than one title, the numbering is different. -
Uppenbarelseboken 1 & 2
Favs/dislikes: 0:0. All movies in the books Uppenbarelseboken 1 & 2 by Swedish critic and director Stig Björkman. Entries 1-212 are book one, the rest book two. -
Curiouser and Curiouser
Favs/dislikes: 1:0. My watchlist is limited to "must-see's." This secondary list is more like a casual scratchpad for unseen films of medium interest. In no order. -
Hollands Hollywood
Favs/dislikes: 5:0. All movies with an entry in "Hollands Hollywood" by Henk van Gelder. Dutch cinema from 1934 to 1994. Missing on imdb: Polygoon's filmvariété (1942) Ten hoogste negen jaren (1945) Vrij en onverveerd (1945) Stranding (1960) Op de bodem van de hemel (1965) De witte paraplu (1983) -
Not Coming to a Theater Near You's 31 Days of Horror
Favs/dislikes: 5:0. Not Coming to a Theater Near You was a movie review website specialising in the rediscovery of older and forgotten films. When active, it featured an annual 31 Days of Horror series each October, in which one horror movie per day was reviewed. This list includes all films reviewed in all editions of Not Coming's 31 Days of Horror series.
