Cinemaya's Greatest Asian Films
Favs/dislikes: 28:0. In 1998, Cinemaya asked 34 critics (mostly Asian critics) to list their 10 favorite Asian films. Cinemaya published all of these lists in issue #41 of the magazine. #1 Tokyo Story appeared on 20 of the lists. This is a list of films that appeared on at least 2 lists. Favs/dislikes: 0:0. A list of Indonesian films that I recommend or have been recommended to me. Also uses Tabloid Bintang's 2010 ranking of the Top 25 Indonesian Movies for many older entries. This largely omits horror films due to my personal taste, so it does not attempt to be comprehensive. Missing: "(Cintaku di) Kampus Biru [My love on Blue Campus]" by Ami Prijono (1976).
